The David Buchbinder Jazz Ensemble is a multi-sized band (two-piece through eleven-piece) that features Toronto’s best improvisers and offers an extensive repertoire of jazz standards as well as edgy original compositions for the most discerning jazz lovers.
Nomadica
Nomadica is a great party band that rocks the house (the dance floor in particular) playing funky Roma/Gypsy music with a modern Toronto flare. The house band for FunkaBelly - one of the city's hottest dance and bellydance parties - is guaranteed to provide a good time for all. With their ties to FunkaBelly (which is presented and hosted by Roula Said: Nomadica's singer and world-renowned belly-dancer), the band often performs with a dance ensemble or at the very least, on-stage dancing and percussion by Roula.
