The Flying Bulgars

The Flying Bulgars recently marked its 20th anniversary - and to celebrate: the release of our sixth CD this November. All new, original material with songs written for the first time in English will be presented with a contemporary folk/alternative sound yet with a solid Jewish-themed foundation. With a fully orchestrated alt-pop sound is being recorded with the help of Dave Newfield, the mastermind behind successful productions such as Broken Social Scene.

The Flying Bulgars sixth CD,  Tumbling Into Light was officially released November 10. The disc is available online through iTunes, Maple Music, at live shows as well as in Toronto at Soundscapes and L'Atelier Grigorian.

The album was recorded over the past several years and includes all brand-new material produced by Dave Newfeld.
